  • August 21 – Viewing Party and Community Sack Lunch at the ball field. Eclipse Glasses will be available.
  • August 21 – Solar Eclipse Party at The Field Sports Bar & Grill


  • August 21 – View Location – Intersection Hwy 15 & 136.  Totally Smoked BBQ serving food 11-gone.  Eclipse Glasses and T-shirts on sale.
    • Walk from Ray’s parking lot.  Bring your lawn chair and canopy. There will be portapots.  Sponsored by Jefferson County Visitors Committee.
  • August 21 – Fairbury Public School – 9:30am-2:00pm, kids, teachers & staff will participate in solar eclipse-themed activities. Volunteers are needed to assist with activities.  If interested contact Jeremy Christiansen or 402-729-5041.
